Bloody Mary Top Sirloin Steak With Green Olive Butter
- 4 boneless sirloin streaks at room temperature
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 teaspoons cracked black pepper
- 2 teaspoons celery seed
- 1 ½ cups of bloody mary mix (extra spicy)
- 1 tablespoon of concentrated orange juice
- 2 ounces vodka
- 3 tablespoons of cold butter (unsalted)
- 2 teaspoons of chopped garlic
- 16 green olives (pitted)
Preheat your grill to medium heat. Brush olive oil on both sides of your steaks and sprinkle them with the celery seed and cracked black pepper. Cook the steaks to the desired temperature and set them aside on a plate.
In a saucepan, bring the vodka, bloody mary mix and orange juice concentrate to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and then simmer for five minutes. While the sauce is cooking, the olives, garlic and butter get purred in a food processor until the substance is nearly smooth.
Pour a pool of sauce in the middle of each plate. Then you will slice each top sirloin steak into five slices or so and place them in a fan pattern over the sauce. Using a spoon, dollop a bit of olive butter on top and then spoon a bit more sauce on.
This is a spicy dish and a real impressive treat with dinner parties that you need to impress with. Roughly torn pieces of bread fresh out of the oven go well with the dish or a side bowl of rice works too. The presentation is important with this dish so avoid placing anything else on the plate other than the steak and the sauce. This recipe yields four servings.
